*** Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic we are currently utilizing an on-line process for song submissions and critiquing. Click here for more information. Once things return to somewhat normal we will resume our monthly face to face meetings. ***
The mainstay of the organization is our monthly workshop and critique session, hosted every 2nd Sunday* at the wonderful JP Hops house.
We typically start with a short workshop at 2pm, followed by a song critique session, ending up with the regular Sunday evening open mic
Pick what interests you and join us!
* Except in May, we meet on the first Sunday

The critique meetings
Every month we meet to share our work (one song each) and get comments from our songwriting peers. A group of people who are passionate about the art and craft of songwriting will give you insights you will not get from friends and family! In turn as you critique others songs, you will learn more about what makes a song work, and how to make your song resonate with others. Members who bring in a song (a song that is still in progress) for critiquing should also have about 30 copies of the lyric sheet to pass around. Songs can be performed live or played on our CD player.
We send out two/three emails a month with reminders on meeting dates, voting and other items.
If you wish to receive a copy of this email please click on the icon and you will be added to our list.
