Attention HSA Members,
This is an invitation to ALL HSA Members who are current in their memberships dues for 2022 and registered in the Member’s Area on the HSA website at www.houstonsongwriters.net to see what new creations your fellow songwriters have brought to the HSA monthly meetings throughout the year AND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL VOTING CONTESTS for Song of the Year, Collaboration Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
We know how valuable your time is and realize that it’s not always possible to attend the monthly meetings or participate in the monthly voting or workshops, but please know that HSA appreciates whatever you have done throughout the years to support your fellow songwriters and to allow us to continue to provide a safe and friendly environment where we can all come together as songwriters to share our common goals and interests in songwriting.
Once you have logged into the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net, if you would like to listen to the songs before voting, click on the Song of the Month Icon. Then click on each of the areas for the songs you would like to hear; Song of the Year Nominees by Year, 2022 Songwriter of the Year Nominees, and 2022 Collaboration Song of the Year Nominees.
To go directly to the Voting Area, click on the Members Area, scroll down to the bottom of the page to Annual Voting and click on the green box “Annual Voting”. Please read the instructions at the top of the page carefully and select your 2 favorite nominations in each of the 3 categories. You must vote in all three categories. Don’t forget to scroll up and down to see all of the nominations in each category before you cast your votes.
The last day for the Annual Voting is November 28, 2022 and the awards will be given out at the HSA Christmas Party Celebration on December 11, 2022.
Note to ALL NOMINEES in any of the three annual contests: YOU MUST VOTE in all three of the categories to stay in the competitions. Thank you for your membership and participation in the HSA Annual Voting Contests.
