Attention Songwriters,
Recently, HSA Member, Cheryl Cawood, sent us an idea for starting an additional location to have Face-to-Face Monthly Meetings for songwriters who live in Galveston and surrounding counties. We will still continue with our monthly online meetings on the first day of each month along with our regular Face-to-Face Monthly Meetings on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2:00PM at Kojak’s Fine Foods, 1912 W 18th St., Houston, TX 77008.
The Face-to-Face Meetings in the Galveston area will be on the 2nd Monday of each month, starting on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 7:00PM at Huli Huli Hut (Behind the White Door), 310 19th St., Galveston, TX, 77550. Cheryl Cawood will be in charge of running the meeting, etc., the same way we do with the Houston Face-to-Face meeting. The guidelines for paying membership dues, registering on the HSA website at www.houstonsongwriters.net , posting songs, etc., remain the same for both locations.
We would like to know how many songwriters including the current members of HSA are interested in attending this new additional location. Of course, all members may attend both meetings if they wish to do so. We would appreciate if you would let us know by responding to this message or sending an email message to contact@houstonsongwriters.net and indicating your preferred HSA Face-to-Face monthly meeting location.
