Attention HSA Members,
We have completed the initial phase of our very first HSA April On-line Meeting on our website at www.houstonsongwriters.net . Members who participate in the on-line meetings in any aspect will receive the same recognition as being in attendance at any regular HSA monthly meeting. A special thanks to the members who posted a song (11 songs in all) for critiquing and to all who offered critiques, comments and suggestions to the songwriters. The Song Upload Area is now closed.
Members may continue to critique the posted songs through April 13. We hope that all members will participate in critiquing the songs as they would if we were having the meeting at J P Hops House. Your fellow songwriters are looking forward to hearing from you. The songwriters will have a chance to revise/update their songs, if they wish to do so, from April 14 to April 20. The April Song of the Month Voting will begin on April 22 through April 30. Members must vote for two different songs and cannot vote on their own song or a song they collaborated on. We hope the on-line critiquing and voting will allow for more member participation. If a member does not want their song to be automatically entered in the April Song of the Month Contest, we must receive a notice by April 21 to remove the song from the Song of the Month Contest.
