HSA April 2020 Song of the Month Voting / May On-Line Meeting

Attention HSA Members:

The HSA April 2020 Song of the Month Voting is now open on our website at Eleven songs have been entered in the April Contest. Voting will close on Thursday night, April 30, 2020. Your fellow songwriters will appreciate your participation.

Click on the Members Area and please read the Voting Guidelines listed on the Voting Page. To cast your VOTES for your 2 favorite songs, click on the VOTE (in blue); then click on the arrow for your first choice selection; then click on the arrow to vote on your second choice selection. You must vote for 2 different songs; then click on Cast Vote (in red). If you have any problems, please contact us immediately at

Our President, Danny Liggett, is scheduled to open the HSA On-line May Meeting on Friday, May 1, 2020 with a video bringing us up to date with what has been happening since the last on-line meeting. There is also a mini-workshop that will be presented on “Quick Songwriting Tips: Inject Your Lyrics with Drama and Conflict”. He will also provide the specific dates and instructions for Uploading Songs, Critiquing, Revisions and Voting. We hope you will all join in during that time, or whenever you can. It will still be available on our HSA website HOME page …. Just click on the blue area that indicates On-line Critique Process.

So, if you’re planning on presenting a song for the next on-line meeting, now is a good time to think about what song you’d like to enter in the May Song of the Month Contest.
