Attention HSA Members,
Congratulations to the HSA February 2023 Song of the Month Winners, Warren Hanson and Ray Wyatt for their song titled LET’S WRITE A SONG TOGETHER and to Wallace Chase for his song titled YOU HAVE DELIVERED ME. Honorable Mention for the song with the 3rd highest number of votes goes to Andrea R. Cannon for her instrumental titled RAGS TO RICHES. You can hear the songs for the February monthly winners on the Home Page of our website at www.houstonsongwriters.net. Also, a recap of the February Meeting is shown on the Home Page under Monthly Meeting Information.
A special thanks to the 19 members who participated in commenting on the songs and the 22 members who voted. We are very grateful to those members who may not be able to upload songs each month, but still take the time to support their fellow songwriters by reviewing, commenting and voting on the songs that are posted. Remember anyone who is registered on the website may comment on the songs posted each month.
MARCH 0N-LINE MEETING- The March On-line Meeting is now open. You can access all of the open areas for the Song of the Month entries on the Home Page by clicking on Meeting Information/Monthly/Schedule on our website.
The March 2023 Schedule for the Song of the month entries are as follows:
March 1 -13 Upload songs for submissions and comments by members
March 1 -28 Songs can continue to be reviewed by members
March 15 -23 Songwriters can revise their song, if necessary
March 24 -31 Voting for March Song of the Month
We hope that all members will participate in commenting on the songs as they are uploaded to the website. The Face-to-Face Meeting will be on March 12, 2023 at Kojak’s Fine Dining. More information will be sent out soon regarding the Face-to-Face Meeting.
