Attention HSA Members,
THE HSA JULY 2021 SONG OF THE MONTH VOTING IS NOW OPEN - TO VOTE, go to the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net, click on the Members Area and please read the Voting Guidelines listed on the Voting Page. To cast your VOTES for your 2 favorite songs, click on the VOTE (in blue); then click on the arrow for your first choice selection; then click on the arrow to vote on your second choice selection. You must vote for 2 different songs; then click on Cast Vote (in red). You cannot vote on your own song or songs you collaborated on. If you have any problems, please contact us immediately at contact@houstonsongwriters.net. Please check to see if any of the songs may have been revised after you listened to them. July voting will close on Saturday night July 31, 2021.
AUGUST ON-LINE MEETING - The HSA On-Line Meeting and Critique Session for the Month of August starts on August 1, 2021. All information will be posted on the website on that day and winners for the July Contest will be announced. You may post your song on the website at that time, or you may bring it to the Face-to-Face Meeting, or do both, however, only one song (the same song) may be presented for the month.
AUGUST FACE-TO-FACE MEETING –The in-person meeting will be on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 2:00PM at JP Hops House, 2317 S. Hwy 6, Houston TX 77077. The doors open at 1:30PM.
You have the option to play live, or play a recording, for member listening, critique, and general feedback. Additional information and a reminder will be sent out a week before the Face-to-Face meeting date.
Most have been vaccinated at this point, but please, we ask if you have not been vaccinated to please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the Face-to-Face Meeting.
