Attention HSA Members:
Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us at the 2019 HSA Annual Christmas Party on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at JP Hops House. It seemed everyone had a wonderful time enjoying great conversations, food and drinks, and the white elephant game.
It was also a time to celebrate Houston Songwriters Association’s 30th Anniversary which was created in 1989. A special thanks to Chris Stiteler and Brian Kalinec for taking us down memory lane during the early days of our Organization when it was called Fort Bend Songwriters Association in Richmond, TX. Brian presented pictures on a large screen from way back when of some of the original board members, famous songwriters who dropped in every now and then, and several concerts by FBSA. We were even honored to have several members from those early days who also joined us for our 30th Anniversary!
A special thanks to Danny Liggett who did a great job coordinating the proceedings and for providing a recording that included “snippets” of all of the 20 songs that were Song of the Year Nominees.
