Attention: HSA Members
We had a wonderful turn out for our August 14, 2022 Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods. We want to thank the 26 members for taking the time to spend their Sunday afternoon with us. We hope everyone enjoyed it.
Our President, Jay Harris, was the Master of Ceremonies and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. We were also honored with a special guest speaker, Troy McConnell, from Houston, Texas, a world renown singer/songwriter who has written many songs with the best of them, including Garth Brooks and a few others in Nashville, TN. We are so thankful to Troy for sharing his successful career as a singer/songwriter with us and valuable tips for improving our own songwriting skills. We hope he will come back to visit us again. We enjoyed listening to 12 songs that were presented at the meeting and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading songs is now closed. All members may continue to review and comment on all of the songs posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net through Sunday night, August 28, 2022. If you have some time to add your verbal and written comments made at the meeting to the songs on the website, that will also be appreciated.
