Attention: HSA Members
We had a wonderful turn out for our January 14, 2024 Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods. We want to thank the 36 members for taking the time to spend their Sunday afternoon with us. We hope everyone enjoyed it.
Our President, Mark Winters, was the Master of Ceremonies and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. HSA Member, Warren Hanson, gave a wonderful Mini-Workshop called, “HOW TO BAKE A CAKE”, What Every Songwriter Should Know. It was a delightful way of comparing the process of baking a cake to writing a song. Everyone enjoyed it!!! Thank you so much Warren for sharing your expert songwriting talents with us.
We also enjoyed listening to 14 awesome songs that were presented at the meeting and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading songs will close Tuesday night, January 16, 2024. So, get your songs uploaded by then. Members who are registered may continue to review and comment on all of the songs posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net through Sunday night, January 28, 2024. If you have some time to add your verbal and written comments made at the meeting to the songs on the website, that will also be appreciated. Please visit the website for additional information concerning the Song Revision Dates and Voting Dates for Song of the Month.
REMINDER – ANNUAL RENEWAL MEMBERSHIP DUES … This is also the time to renew your 2024 Annual Membership Dues. Please do so by January 31, 2024. You can renew them through PayPal on our website at www.houstonsongwriters.net , click on the Members Area and click on Pay Your Annual HSA Dues, at the top right side of the page.
