Attention: HSA Members
We had a wonderful turn out for our Sunday, June 11, 2023, Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods and our very first Monday night, June 12, 2023, Face-to-Face Meeting at the Huli Huli Hut in Galveston. We want to thank everyone for spending time with your HSA friends, listening to their songs and giving feedback on their creations. We hope you had a great time.
Our Treasurer, Mark Winters, was the Master of Ceremonies at the Kojak location and Cheryl Cawood led the meeting in Galveston at the Huli Huli Hut. Both did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. We sincerely appreciate those members attending for the first time and presenting their awesome songs.
We enjoyed listening to the many songs that were presented at the meeting and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading songs closes tonight, Tuesday, June 13, 2023. We currently have 18 songs posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net . Please note “All Members” who are signed up on our website may review and comment on the songs that are posted through June 27, 2023 and “we encourage you to do so”. Voting for Song of the Month will open on June 22, 2023 through June 30, 2023. Any member who has paid their membership dues for 2023 can vote in the monthly contest. You do not have to have a song posted in the contest in order to vote, but if you do, you must vote in that monthly contest in order to keep your song in the contest. We encourage all paid members to Vote in the monthly contests.
