Attention: HSA Members
We had a wonderful turn out for our May 7, 2023 Face-to-Face Meeting at Kojak’s Fine Foods. We want to thank the 23 members for taking the time to spend their Sunday afternoon with us. We hope everyone enjoyed it.
Our President, Jay Harris, was the Master of Ceremonies and did an excellent job of keeping everyone involved and interested. We sincerely appreciate those members attending for the first time and presenting their awesome songs.
We enjoyed listening to the 11 songs that were presented at the meeting and sincerely appreciated the audience for their amazing comments and feedback to the songwriters. The area for uploading songs is still open through Sunday night, May 14, 2023. We currently have 9 songs posted on the website at www.houstonsongwriters.net . Please note “All Members” who are signed up on our website may review and comment on the songs that are posted and “we encourage you to do so”. Voting for Song of the Month will open on May 23, 2023 through May 31, 2023. Any member who has paid their membership dues for 2023 can vote in the monthly contest. You do not have to have a song posted in the contest in order to vote, but if you do, you must vote in that monthly contest in order to keep your song in the contest. We encourage all paid members to Vote in the monthly contests.
